Overview
Life is a precious gift from God.
In 1975 U.S. Catholic Bishops approved
the Pastoral Plan for Pro-Life Activities in order to
activate the entire Church. This plan is a four-pronged
defense of human life—education, pastoral care, public
policy and prayer.
Respect Life activities focus on the gift
of life from the moment of conception to natural death.
