Cana Again

The Diocese of St. Augustine recognizes that couples seeking remarriage within the Church have unique needs that may not be addressed in a standard marriage preparation course.

For these couples the Diocese offers the Cana Again program.

Cana Again consists of a series of meetings between the engaged couple and a trained sponsor couple who have been remarried themselves. In addition to sharing their own personal experience, the sponsor couple will guide the engaged couple through a workbook which approaches the Sacramental union through the lens of those issues specific to a remarriage situation, such as the stepfamily structure, step-parenting, and dealing with a former spouse.
